Rope is threaded through a hole in the hook. Even in narrow places where it is difficult to insert a hand, such as a bamboo fence, or an hedge this can be used to easily insert and tie the rope. Thread the rope from the front side of the fence to the back side, and around to the front side again to thread the rope smoothly. This curved hook is more convenient to use than a straight needle. Because it is made of iron, rust can be prevented with oil.
